Seller’s reason for using Assuryn
Help screening out scammers and greater trust in the payment plan
Progress so far
Active payment plan: The seller reports $4,000 paid (25%), with $12,000 remaining across three installments. No payments are overdue; the sale is not yet fully paid.
Payment details and status are seller-reported. A dated status update, item photo, and matching redacted payment-plan screenshot are needed to complete the case study.
Read the Seller Protection Guide
Do I receive the full sale price upfront?
No. You receive payments over time as your buyer pays. Assuryn does not advance you the sale price or purchase the money your buyer owes you.
Is this like Affirm or Klarna?
Assuryn enables you to offer seller financing. You’re agreeing to accept payment over time; Assuryn is not stepping in to fund the purchase and take over the buyer’s repayment risk.
What happens if my buyer stops paying?
Your signed sales agreement documents the buyer’s payment obligations and provides a foundation for pursuing repayment. You carry the risk of nonpayment; Assuryn does not cover missed payments or guarantee collection.
What does the sales agreement do?
It puts the agreed price, payment schedule, and buyer’s obligations in writing. Together with identity verification and payment records, it supports your claim if you need to pursue unpaid amounts. The agreement provides a contractual backstop, not a guarantee of payment.
Offer a payment plan only when you’re comfortable with the buyer, the terms, and the possibility of missed payments.
What options do I have if a buyer does not pay?
Under the agreement described in the Seller Protection Guide, your options include:
Document the dispute: Open a platform dispute when a buyer marks payment as sent but it has not arrived within two business days.
Request the remaining balance: After two missed payments, or a payment more than seven days overdue, the agreement allows you to declare the remaining balance due by written notice.
Attempt direct resolution: The agreement calls for direct communication within seven days of a dispute notice before arbitration.
Pursue further recourse: Depending on the agreement and applicable law, options may include eligible small claims proceedings, AAA arbitration, collections, or temporary court relief to protect property.
Assuryn provides documentation and structure; it does not mediate or enforce repayment. Sellers pursue their own remedies. Legal and collection costs may apply, and recovery is not guaranteed.
If you’re comfortable accepting payments over time, a payment plan gives you another option to discuss before reducing your price or walking away.

Do I have to accept a buyer’s proposed terms?
